Charity tea party – KSS Air Ambulance

We had a lovely afternoon in Babs Ruck’s garden with wonderful cakes and pastries.  We also had Pimms as well as tea and coffee.  A market place stall and raffle also helped to raise money.   We had two representatives from the Air Ambulance with us.

54th Birthday Party

This year we celebrated in the WI Hall as it was too inclement to have our BBQ.  We still had sausages, baked potato and beans followed by ice cream.  A Kent quiz was done which everyone enjoyed.

Bat & Trap

What a fine evening we had playing Bat & Trap at The Golden Lion.   Reminding us of days when we used to play rounders.  We managed to lose the ball twice but retrieved them from the shrubbery.

Greenwich 18th June 2025

Our annual coach trip this year was to scenic Greenwich.  So much to see and do and the weather was beautiful.  Some members did the maritime museum and cutty sark whilst others went cruising down the Thames or eating and drinking in Greenwich Market.

East Kent Federation WI Holiday

A group of ladies from WIs in East Kent went together to Okehampton to learn new crafts and make new friends.  A good time was had by all.

Silk painting

We had a lovely relaxing evening doing silk painting.  The results were very good.

Making Christmas tree decorations

Our Social in December was making Christmas tree decorations.  We also had a carols’ singalong by candlelight.  Together with mince pies and mulled wine, we started Christmas rolling at our WI

Christmas Party 2024

This year we had a change of venue.  We went to the Whitstable and Seasalter Golf Club where we had a two or three course  meal.  The food was excellent and our entertainer Ashley Green performed some magic tricks and gave us a show on mind reading using our members.  It was amazing.
