We are delighted to announce that the Seasalter Cross WI has officially selected Pilgrims Hospices as our chosen charity for the 2026 calendar year.

Each year, our committee and members take great care in selecting a cause that resonates with our values of community, compassion, and local support. Given the profound impact that Pilgrims Hospices continues to have on families right here in East Kent, it was a unanimous decision to dedicate our fundraising efforts and support to their vital work.

Why Pilgrims Hospices?

For those of us living in and around the Seasalter and Canterbury area, the name Pilgrims Hospices is synonymous with dignity, comfort, and expert care. They provide essential end-of-life care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses, ensuring that patients and their families receive compassionate support during their most challenging times.

Whether through their inpatient units, hospice-at-home services, or bereavement support, they touch countless lives in our local community. We believe that by supporting Pilgrims Hospices, we are not just raising funds—we are helping to ensure that this crucial care remains available to our friends, neighbours, and loved ones when it is needed most.
