March main meeting – Foraging

It is coming into Spring and a time perhaps for a bit of foraging. Amy Hitchcock will come and talk to us about what you can pick or not pick around here. She is available for foraging tours.

January Main Meeting – Bystanders can be LifeSavers

Following on from the resolution passed at the National meeting, we will be having Tim Judge to demonstrate CPR with an opportunity of having a go yourselves. He comes from the Coastguard.
February Main Meeting – Dog’s Trust, AGM and cheque presentation to KSS

We will be having our AGM and as last year, we will present our chosen charity with a cheque. This year it is KSS Air Ambulance. In addition, we will be having Lara Murphy come to talk to us about the Dog’s Trust from Canterbury.
Bi monthly lunch club – October

Carrying on with our popular lunch club, we are going to the Wheatsheaf in October. See Susan for menu choices at main meeting. Payment made on the day according to what you have. Tables will be booked where possible.
Diner’s Club – September

A new venue for us to try. The Golden Lion at Broad Oak. We went there recently to play Bat & Trap. See Sandra for menu choices and deposit of £10.
Bedgebury National Pinetum and Forest

We are going to Bedgebury to see the Christmas lights in the pinetum and forest. We are booked on the 4.45 p.m. entry. It takes 1-1.5 hours. There is a cafe and food stalls. We hope to leave about 7.30 for the return home.
Panto – The Magical tale of Snow White

2026 sees the Lindley Players at the Whitstable Playhouse performing The Magical Tale of Snow White.
October Social – making boxes

Come along and make some gift boxes. Linda and Diane are showing us some new skills.
Charity BBQ

Supporting Seasalter Cross WI and their charity KSSX (Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance), the Oyster Pearl are putting on a BBQ on Saturday 23rd August. Please come and support this event. There will be a raffle with fantastic prizes and a cake stall.
