Making Christmas tree decorations

Our Social in December was making Christmas tree decorations.  We also had a carols’ singalong by candlelight.  Together with mince pies and mulled wine, we started Christmas rolling at our WI

Christmas Party 2024

This year we had a change of venue.  We went to the Whitstable and Seasalter Golf Club where we had a two or three course  meal.  The food was excellent and our entertainer Ashley Green performed some magic tricks and gave us a show on mind reading using our members.  It was amazing.

Scotney Castle

A large group of us had a day out at Scotney Castle where each room was decorated with a Christmas theme which covered panto, ballet and other entertainments.  Despite the bad weather, some of us even managed to go down to the castle.

Quiz night 2024

A successful annual quiz night was held supported by local WI groups.  The winning team and losing team both came from Seasalter Cross WI.  Well done and commiserations ladies.

Charity Tea Party

Our WI Birthday Party 2024

Around the world in 80 minutes was the theme this year.  Each member was asked to wear something summery and bring a momento of a holiday they had.  There was a round the world quiz and railway game and the members were treated to cheese and wine.  We also celebrated one of our committee members […]

Barn Dance

What a great time we had at our Barn Dance.  Over 120 people bought tickets for our event which hopefully will come an annual fund raiser.

Doddington House and Gardens

A group of members went to the Doddington Gardens.  The house is private.  A beautiful day to see all the lovely flowers in bloom.

Chatham Dockyard – our annual outing

This year, we went to the Chatham Dockyard which also included a Call the Midwife tour.  A very interesting and informative visit especially the Ropery Tour.
