Tonight we will be learning from our President Hazel on how to make paper flowers either using printed pages out of books or plain paper. Come along and give it a go.
April main meeting – Blood runners
SERV Kent, “Service by Emergency Response Volunteers” also known as the Bloodrunners is a charity that provides emergency courier services transporting blood products, samples and other. Come and listen to Trevor Sayer who is coming to present to us.
April Social – Games night and CPR
Tim has agreed that he will come back so that we can practice our CPR following on from our meeting with him in January. We will also be playing board games/cards.
March Social – Watercolour painting, crystal sun catcher, silk art or bread roll making.

February Social – Resin flowers
Come and have a go with Linda and Diane at Resin Flowers. They look very effective.
March main meeting – Foraging
It is coming into Spring and a time perhaps for a bit of foraging. Amy Hitchcock will come and talk to us about what you can pick or not pick around here. Please bring along something that has grown in your garden but was not planted by you. She is available for foraging tours.
January Social – board games or baking rolls
To start off the New Year, we will be getting together for an evening of board games/card games. There will be an opportunity to do some baking with Linda in the kitchen to make bread rolls. Spaces for this will be limited. Please sign up at meetings.
January Main Meeting – Bystanders can be LifeSavers
Following on from the resolution passed at the National meeting, we will be having Tim Judge to demonstrate CPR with an opportunity of having a go ourselves. He comes from the Coastguard.
February Main Meeting – Our AGM, cheque presentation to KSS & Dog’s Trust,
We will be having our AGM and as last year, we will present our chosen charity with a cheque. This year it is KSS Air Ambulance. In addition, we will be having Lara Murphy to come to talk to us about the Dog’s Trust from Canterbury.
Bi monthly lunch club – October
Carrying on with our popular lunch club, we are going to the Wheatsheaf in October. See Susan for menu choices at main meeting. Payment made on the day according to what you have. Tables will be booked where possible.
